About Me
With more than 20 years of experience, David Engh is proud to bring Banking Texas Style to the community he loves.
“CBTx has a different feel to it,” David said. “It feels more like a family than a job. I turned down several banks before finding a home. I want to grow the bank and be proud of my work.”
As a commercial lender, David uses his knack for numbers and his passion for helping people to provide real value and guidance to his diverse group of customers. To him, that means looking people in the eye and offering honest, fair and thoughtful service.
“I love meeting new people and hearing their stories,” he said. “And I love to go the extra mile, because I want to make sure that they are completely satisfied.”
David was born in Illinois and grew up in Austin. After graduating from The University of Texas with a bachelor’s degree in economics, he moved to Dallas. He is active in the McKinney community, serving as treasurer of the Community Food Pantry. He is also a member of the 2023 Leadership McKinney class.
“I like how the McKinney community reminds me of the small-town atmosphere that I grew up with,” he said. “Asking for help and caring for others comes naturally.”
