Helping Businesses and Communities Thrive – One Relationship at a Time
For me, banking isn’t just about numbers—it’s about people. With 25 years in banking and insurance, I’ve learned that when you serve your customers well, you’re strengthening the entire community.
As a bilingual banker at CBTx, I specialize in helping families and entrepreneurs in both languages unlock financial solutions that fuel growth. Nothing motivates me more than placing a family in their first home or seeing a business client’s vision come to life—whether it’s securing the right loan, offering strategic advice, or simply being a trusted partner in their journey.
Rooted in Texas, Committed to Nacogdoches
Originally from Mexico, my family migrated to Henderson, TX, when I was about 10 years old. As the years went on, I earned my degree from Stephen F. Austin State University (after starting on a band scholarship at Kilgore College—yes, I was a drummer!). Shortly after graduation, a bank HR Manager led me to banking, where I’ve held nearly every role—from teller to branch manager, to business banker – starting in Tyler and continuing in Houston.
Now, I’m proud to be back in Nacogdoches, serving this vibrant community with CBTx’s local decision-making and personal touch. From serving in Rotary to NEDCO, the Chamber of Commerce, CASA, the SFA Charter School, and the Hispanic Alliance Committee, I’m all-in on helping our town move forward. That is Banking Texas Style!
Beyond Banking
When I’m not working, you’ll find me:
- Fishing or running (my disconnects!)
- Spending time with my wife and kids
- Listening to a variety of Latin and American music
- And when time allows, rewatching my favorite movie, McFarland, USA – a story of grit and triumph
