About Me
Nicole Van Zandt’s lifelong ties to the region, as well as her impressive depth of experience, have helped strengthen her appreciation of and commitment to community banking.
“To me, Banking Texas Style means remembering our customers are our neighbors, and our friends,” Nicole said. “One of my favorite parts of this job is the relationships we build with our customers. Making someone feel important is something they never forget, and it is not hard to take that extra time to help someone. When you are genuine and sincere with people, you build trust and lasting relationships.”
Nicole brought her real estate experience to CBTx in 2018 as a loan assistant, and she is now an AVP Mortgage Lender in the Lewisville Banking Center. In a way, it’s the culmination of two family traditions.
“My great-grand-grandfather founded a Fort Worth bank and my mother owned a large independent real estate company,” she said. “I have a large respect and fascination for how the two work together, allowing an amazing world of growth, investment and opportunity.”
Nicole was born at an Army base in Colorado, grew up in the DFW area, and graduated from Arlington High School. After graduating from Texas A&M University, she returned to the area to raise her family. She has a BS from A&M as well as from the University of North Texas, and she has held an active Broker’s License with the Texas Real Estate Commission since she was 21. She is also an Arbitrator for the Texas State Comptroller.
She is a member of the Flower Mound Rotary, the Greater Lewisville Association of Realtors; the Denton County A&M Club, the Lewisville Chamber of Commerce, the Flower Mound Chamber of Commerce, the Denton County Aggie Mom’s Club.
Nicole has three children and three grandchildren. She considers spending time with her grandkids as the best down time she can think of, and when she has spare time to herself, she likes to ride her horse or her Harley.
