For Allen Banking Center Branch Manager Esmeralda Arambula, Banking Texas Style means doing anything and everything you can to help the customers meet their needs.

“I think what sets Commercial Bank of Texas apart from the competition is our sense of community,” she said. “We truly have the best interest of our customers in mind, and we take the time to really know our customers. We know them by name and make them feel like they are part of our family.”

A native of Los Angeles, Esmeralda moved to Texas in 2020 and joined the CBTx team in 2021. She credits her mother-in-law, who has always been passionate about helping others, with getting her into banking. She began her career in 2010 as a part-time teller, relying on her strong work ethic and good listening skills to work her way up the ranks.

Everyone always calls me Esme, short for Esmeralda.

What was your first job?

I worked at Old Navy in Del Amo Mall.

What is the most famous person you have ever met?

I would have to say Kevin Hart or Ashley Green.

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I wanted to be an athletic trainer or EMT.
