About Me

Regan Wood believes in the Golden Rule, which makes her a natural fit for Banking Texas Style.

“When I help a customer, I always think about how I would want to be treated and make it happen,” she said. “To me, Banking Texas Style means customized and superior customer service for everyone! My favorite part of my job is finding innovative ways to serve our customers.”

Regan joined the CBTx team in 2019 when she and her family moved to Nacogdoches.

“I love that we live in a community where you will probably know the people you see at the grocery store,” she said. “I’ve always said that Nacogdoches feels like Stars Hollow from Gilmore Girls, in the way we are such a tight knit and friendly community. I also love that we have so many small businesses to support!”

Regan grew up in the Golden Triangle area and graduated from Lumberton High School. She has a bachelor’s in business administration from Southern New Hampshire University and completed the CBTx Emerging Leaders program. She is Sergeant at Arms for the Fredonia Rotary Club. Her family attends First Baptist Church.

Fun Facts

What was the first job you ever had? 

I was a waitress at Crazy Jose’s in Lumberton through high school. I actually loved waiting tables!

Who is the most famous person you have ever met?

Preacher Lawson from America’s Got Talent.

What book has had the biggest impact on you?

The entire Harry Potter series. I grew up reading them and the series is what turned me into a reader!

What kind of music inspires you, and why?

All music! From classical to Taylor Swift, I believe in the power of self-expression and healing through music.

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I wanted to be a children’s therapist or teacher.
