About Me

For Rebecca Lunsford, “Banking Texas Style” means always being there for her customers. And being there means more than just answering the phone.

“I just want to make sure my customers are always happy, so that is why I strive to go the extra mile for them,” she said. “I think our people make CBTx rise above the competition. All banks offer the same services, but we have outstanding employees that make our customers feel like family.”

A Nacogdoches native, Rebecca joined the CBTx family after graduating from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2014. She worked her way up to Real Estate Loan Specialist and serves as a loan assistant. She particularly enjoys working on commercial real estate, which showcases her attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Rebecca is co-secretary for the Fredonia Rotary and is a Leadership Nacogdoches graduate. She has two cats, Blaze and Bella, and is grateful most of her family lives in the area.

Fun Facts

What was your first job?

My first job at age 16 was working for the snow cone stand at Charles Pool Real Estate/Putt Putt. I worked there for three summers during high school and one summer of college.

Who is the most famous person you’ve ever met?

Parker McCollum

Who would you consider to be your hero?

I consider my mom to be my hero. She started her own business over 45 years ago in Nacogdoches and continues to thrive today.

If you could possess any superpower, what would it be?

I would like to have the ability to be a time traveler.

What was your best day ever, and why?

I think my best day ever was while visiting Paris in 2014. We got to go to the very top of the Eiffel Tower by glass elevator. While sort of terrifying since I don’t like heights, it was one of the coolest experiences ever!
