About Me

Working at CBTx is so nice Patrick Lanmon has done it twice. “This is my second time to work for CBTx,” he said. “I started at CBTx the first time in 1999 when I moved to Nacogdoches to finish my finance degree. I worked for CBTx for approximately five months. I worked in the proof department, bookkeeping and as a teller. After leaving CBTx I worked for another bank in Nacogdoches for approximately nine years before coming back to CBTx in November of 2008.”

With a focus on consumer, residential and commercial lending, Lanmon enjoys the challenge of customizing a financial solution that best meets each customer’s needs. “I have always had a desire to help people,” he said. “Whether in the bank or elsewhere, I don’t like to tell people “no” and always try to figure out a way to make others happy. Each and every customer is important to me, whether they have $10 million in the bank or $10.”

A native of Kingsville, Lanmon graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a bachelor’s degree in finance. He also completed the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University. He is a deacon at First Christian Church, treasurer of the Nacogdoches Boys Youth Baseball Association, a board member for the Nacogdoches County Steer Show and a member of the Nacogdoches Rotary Club.

Patrick and his wife, Katy, have one son and two daughters. He enjoys golfing, hunting and fishing with his family.

Going to the SFA vs Duke game with my family and watching the Lumberjacks make history!

What was your first job?

My first job was a teller.  I’ve only worked at banks.
