About Me

Tammy Conner knows Banking Texas Style, inside and out. For her, it’s all about exceptional customer service.

With more than 30 years of experience in banking, 27 of which have been with CBTx, Tammy has worked in nearly every aspect of the bank. She began as a teller before moving up to New Accounts, Administrative Assistant, Assistant Branch Manager, Loan Officer, Teller Supervisor and now Banking Officer.

With all that experience, her favorite – and most rewarding – part of the job is helping customers.

“Since I’ve been with CBTx for 27 years, I’ve grown very attached to my customers,” Tammy said. “Many have watched my girls grow from babies to young adults, and me the same with their children. All of them are my favorite. I cherish each one. I want to treat them like family and help them in any way possible.”

Tammy was born in Lufkin and grew up in Livingston. She is married to Ricky Conner and has two daughters, Lindsey and Lauren LaRue. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family, and she has a Corgi named Raci.
