About Me

As a third-generation banker with more than 20 years of experience both in banking and as a strong community leader, Moiz Kurani knows what it takes to serve his clients. He also knows the simple, small details that make CBTx stand out where it feels more like a happy family than just being an employee.

“We listen and do what’s right for our clients with a big smile, the Texas way to help all our clients, big and small, succeed financially” he said.

Moiz works primarily with clients to meet all their commercial financing needs, especially those that are looking to grow, and he focuses on helping them find ways to cut costs. His client base is “extremely mixed and diverse,” and his command of the Urdu, Gujarati, Punjabi and Hindi languages helps him build bridges across a wide range of communities in North Texas.

Moiz grew up in England, where he attended Magna Carta School and earned his BA in Accounting at West London University. He then moved to Anchorage, Alaska, before landing in the Lone Star State. He said his favorite childhood memory is when he came to Dallas for the first time, and he’s happy to live in such a “very caring and helpful” community.
